The Click Photo Booth’s Debut

Well after a few months of waiting, The Click Photo Booth had it’s first wedding on 3.05.11 and has done 4 more events since then.  Paul & Jessica are from New York but decided to get married down here in lovely Charleston, SC.  They needed a booth that would allow for more than 4 people to be in a shot.  The Click Photo Booth can fit at least 8 adults.  Jessica also did not want the “traditional” booth style with a bench due to her dress.  She just wanted to walk in and have some photo booth fun, Palmetto City style.  The great thing is we (Palmetto City Photo Booth) were able to accommodate Jessica because we offer both styles.

The Click Photo Booth is stand up booth which basically means there is not a bench.  This booth appeals to the client who wishes to have many people in the photos at the same time.  Another benefit to The Click Photo Booth is it’s mobility, quick printing time and the quality of prints.  Contact us to see if The Click Photo Booth would be a good fit for your event.

Southwest Airlines Selects PCPB for Photo Booth Fun

We are really excited about this weekend.  Wedding season is kicking into high gear and corporate events are still happening.  We have been hired by Southwest Airlines for their “Welcome” party this weekend here in Charleston.  This is great news for the Charleston community as well as PCPB.  If you are a Charleston resident or planning a trip to Charleston, I hope you will be able to take advantage of Southwest’s low fairs.

40th Photo Booth Birthday Fun

This year has really started off great.  Usually January & February are “slow” months for the photo booth but not this year.  Between the corporate and the private events, we have been busy.  Speaking of private events, we had the honor to be apart of two mile stone birthday parties…the BIG 40!!!  One was an 80′s themed party and the other a good old Southern (meaning live band, cold beer and oysters) party.  PCPB was a great addition to both events and made some fun memories.  Thanks Liezl & Britton!!

PCPB’s Photo Booth Family Grows

Palmetto City Photo Booth is always striving to provide the highest level of customer service we can.  It is customer service that sets you apart from the competition and keeps the good word spreading about your business.   Because of our success in 2010, we have added another photo booth called The Click Photo Booth.  We felt the need to add a booth that would allow for more people to be in shot, faster print time and have the ability to get into more locations than our “sit down” booth.  The Click Photo Booth is going to be a great addition and is already booking up for 2011.

Please check back as we are going to launch a separate website for The Click Photo Booth in the coming weeks.  We feel it needs to have it’s own presence because it is going to play a huge role in the continued growth of our business.

Corporate Photo Booth Gigs

It has been awhile since my last post and I apologize.  We have been busy with The Click Photo Booth, corporate and fund raising events for not-for-profits.  It is really nice to see all the inquiries from these groups.  It means their entertainment budgets are growing and the economy is starting to get on the right track.  We still have a long road ahead but it is a good sign.

Corporate Photo Booth Event

Palmetto City Photo Booth (PCPB) had the pleasure to be a part of The Professional Association of Innkeepers International’s annual conference here in Charleston this month.  When speaking with the organization, they stated they had rented a photo booth last year in Austin, TX.  Even though the conversations about renting the booth started very close to the requested rental date, PCPB was able to accommodate PAII with some photo booth fun.  Guests from the event stated how happy they were to see a photo booth at this event as well since it was a huge hit in 2010.

If you are looking for something to add a little fun to your corporate event, consider a photo booth.  You guests just may thank you for it.

Congrats to the new brides!

We know from history that Christmas and New Year’s Eve are huge dates to pop the question.  Like years past, it still holds true.  PCPB has noticed a lot of web traffic this year already.  When making plans and reviewing all the “must haves” for your wedding, stop and think about a photo booth.  Yes, the photo booth has been around for decades but only in the last year or two has it become a part of a wedding reception.  We think this is why there has been an explosion of people/companies now offering a photo booth.  Renting a photo booth for your reception is a much better investment than party favors for your guests.  People keep photo strips forever and the party favors usually end up in the trash.

The point I am trying to make is when putting together your budget, take a good look at the cost of party favors and renting a photo booth.  As we (Palmetto City Photo Booth) have learned, the photo booth rocks and your guests will tell you that too.

Wilmington Photo Booth Holiday Party

Palmetto City Photo Booth had the pleasure of being a part of Coverbind’s Holiday Party.  We cannot say enough about how nice the people of Coverbind were.  We had a great time and from the pictures, it looks like Coverbind did as well.  Remember, a photo booth can add a ton of fun for any event.

What makes a great photo booth?

After being in this business since the fall of 09′, I have noticed all the different companies and styles of photo booths out there.  In Charleston there are probably 9 companies, Wilmington has about 5 or 6 and growing.  Among all these companies there are sit down booths, stand-up booths, homemade, factory made, tent types, old fashion one piece units and then the photographer that sets up a camera on a tripod and uses a wall as a back-drop.  Which one is the best??  That is great question and I keep getting different answers.  Personally, I feel it comes down to a couple of factors, the company’s reputation and the bride’s taste.

Palmetto City Photo Booth started off with a sit down booth but soon realized there was a need to add more booths to meet every bride’s needs.  After doing some research on photo booths and attending trade shows, we have manufactured our on booth, The Click Booth.  The new booth has high quality components and allows for more people to be in a shot by removing the bench.  We feel The Click Booth will allow PCPB to serve a larger client base and promote grow.  The delivery of the first booth will be the first of December so be on the look out for an announcement.  We are really excited about The Click Booth and we hope you are too.

Stay tuned!

Wilmington Wedding Show

PCPB attended the first wedding show at the new Wilmington Convention center. It was a first class facility with all the modern touches and technology. We met a lot of vendors and even ran into a bride who had booked us earlier this month. We were also lucky enough to be located next to our friends at 128 South and of course our ladies at Social Butterfly Events. We cannot say enough nice things about both of these premier businesses in Wilmington. If you attended the show and stopped by we say…Thank You and look forward to 2011!
